Estroboost

Berry Oat & Linseed Yogurt Bowl

A Probiotic-Rich Power Bowl for Gut Health and Skin Radiance.

The ESTROboost Science:

Feeding Your Microbiome This recipe is designed to support the estrobolome—the specific collection of gut bacteria that regulates your hormones. A healthy gut is your first line of defense against hormonal imbalance.

  • Probiotic & Prebiotic Synergy: Yogurt provides the beneficial live bacteria (probiotics), while the oats and linseed provide the fibre (prebiotics) that feeds them. This “synbiotic” effect maximises gut health support.
  • Antioxidant Protection: Berries are rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants, which are essential for collagen production. As estrogen declines, collagen production slows, so dietary support is key for maintaining skin elasticity.
  • Calcium Boost: Using a calcium-rich yogurt helps protect bone density, a non-negotiable priority for women over 40.

The “Activated” Advantage: Raw oats and seeds can be hard to digest and may cause bloating in some women. “Activating” them beforehand makes them gentle on the stomach and ensures you absorb the minerals like magnesium and zinc more efficiently.

Recipe :

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp activated ground linseed (soaked & boiled, cooled)
  • 3 tbsp activated pinhead oats (soaked & boiled, cooled)
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • ½ cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp granola (optional, for crunch)

Quick Steps

  1. Mix: In a serving bowl, stir the activated linseed and oats into the yogurt until well combined.
  2. Top: Add the mixed berries and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
  3. Finish: Sprinkle with granola if you want an extra crunch, and enjoy immediately.

Raph’s Kitchen Notes:

Seasonal Swap: In autumn or winter, swap the berries for stewed spiced apple chunks for a warming, comforting variation.

Texture: The activated grains add a lovely, chewy texture to the yogurt that feels substantial and satisfying.
